Exciting news from the world of stroke care in Nepal!
Dr Ashim Subedi, from Manipal Teaching Hospital, and Dr Ram Chandra Subedi, from Grande International Hospital, recently participated in the Angels’ Initiative Train-the-Trainer-Workshop in Mainz. For two days, the doctors were fully immersed in interactive workshops that covered a wide range of topics – from pre-hospital care to post-acute care. But that’s not all; they also got to engage in team-building exercises and exchange ideas with other professionals from around the world. It was an experience they will never forget.
Both Dr Ashim and Dr Ram Chandra are passionate about making a difference in people’s lives and committed to doing everything in their power to achieve this goal. And they are confident that the knowledge they gained from this workshop will take them to new heights. They are excited to bring back what they learned to their respective hospitals and spread it to their colleagues and students.
It’s worth noting that Manipal Teaching Hospital has made some impressive strides in recent months. They have built a stroke team and are on the verge of having a fully functional stroke unit. This is no small feat and a testament to the hard work and dedication of Dr Ashim and his colleagues. As for Dr Ram Chandra, he is a fellow at one of Kathmandu’s best hospitals and is eager to bring excellence not only to his workplace but to the healthcare system in Nepal as a whole.
We are sure that the knowledge and skills gained by Dr Ashim and Dr Ram Chandra at the Angels’ Initiative Train-the-Trainer-Workshop will make a significant impact on the people of Nepal. They are both shining examples of the best and brightest in the field of healthcare, and we are lucky to have them on our side.
