Please use the following guide to prepare for a stroke hospital certification:
1. Use the World Stroke Organization’s Road Map for Quality of Stroke Care for a self-assessment of your hospital: wsoroadmap.com/panel/EN
The Roadmap classifies the services in 3 levels: 2 stroke centers (Essential and Ad- vanced) and 1 minimal healthcare services for areas with low access to doctors and resources for stroke care. It suggests you resources and protocols to be implemented in each level.
