Today we report from our 2nd and 3rd Stroke Nurse Workshop on December 8th and 9th, 2022. We were allowed to hold this in the beautiful city of Pokhara. The hospital was Manipal Hospital
First we were introduced to the hospital by Dr. Ashim Subedi.
We were allowed to look at the different departments and got to know many important staff members of Manipal Hospital. The nurse Mina supported us very energetically in organizing the workshops. We were thrilled by the number of participants and were fascinated by the knowledge and commitment many of the nurses showed. On December 8th, about 40 and on December 9th, about 50 nurses participated.
The workshop was first about the presentation of the Nepal Stroke Project and then about the Stroke Basics. Finally, we presented our ideas on how we would like to expand the stroke nurse community and established contacts with the interested nurses in order to be able to shape the stroke nurse future together.
Especially interesting was the exchange about the experiences of the nurses of the Manipal Hospital and the ideas how we can support the Manipal Hospital as Nepal Stroke Project.
Thank you for the great time.
We are looking forward to further cooperation.
