Nurses are very important in Stroke Care, there work makes a huge difference for the patient’s outcome. And times in Nepal are changing. Stroke Units are being built and the very expensive treatment of stroke is now covered by the Nepalese Health Insurance.
Therefore we want to encourage nurses to attend this online course about stroke care. Four speakers from Nepal and Germany will talk about different important aspects of stroke care, from the medical background, the acute phase in the hospital, the rehabilitation up to the prevention of stroke. The sessions will approximately take about an hour. At the end the participants will know about all the important aspects of stroke care and will be better prepared for their work with stroke patients. For every section of the course the participants can get a certificate of attendance.
