The WSO Angels Awards recognize hospitals that demonstrate excellence in stroke care by consistently recording and submitting data to support research and identify areas for improvement. To earn Gold Status, hospitals must regularly submit patient data into RES-Q, achieve certain door-to-needle and door-to-groin times, and provide essential imaging and therapeutic interventions. Post-acute care measures, such as dysphagia screenings and anticoagulation therapy, are also critical. Based on performance, participating hospitals can achieve Gold, Platinum or Diamond-level recognition. The Angels’ community further supports collaboration through professional exchange between participating hospitals and stroke care experts.
